Sports Graduate Position

I am working with an alternative provision based in Lincoln who is looking for a Sports Graduate or Teaching Assistant to work with students across both Primary and Secondary education. You will be working with individuals who have been excluded or have not settled into mainstream education, you will need strong behaviour management skills and the right "can do" attitude to be successful in the role. For the right candidate this presents great career progression and the potential opportunity for a place on our future teacher program.

About the role:

The provisions aim is to promote a safe and secure learning environment so that every student has the educational opportunity they deserve. The role will involve working with challenging individuals in order to gain a greater understanding of the individuals needs so that you can reengage their learning and development. You will promote positive learning experiences and help deliver high quality lessons.

The ideal candidate:

  • Sports graduate or Teaching Assistant Experience
  • Planning, preparation and assistance in the delivery of lessons
  • 1:1 Intervention
  • Behavioural management skills
  • SEMH experience desirable
  • Commitment and determination
  • Strong communication skills
