Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is part of the fabric of Teaching Personnel. We are proud and privileged to be working with schools and play a role in the achievement of children and young adults.
Beyond our core mission of finding a deep variety of staff for all types of schools, we invest time and money to ensure our CSR impact is amplified wherever possible.
Our staff regularly support their client schools at community events including school fetes, galas and prize giving presentations.
Through our Bright Starts programme we provide free careers advice presentations at primary and secondary schools. Bright Starts gives pupils an insight into possible careers, further education and training opportunities.
These presentations often have workshop elements - helping students with interview skills and CV writing.
TP Tokens is our charitable donations programme. Each year we support five children and/or education charities. The programme is highly engaging and allows our working candidates to decide which of the five charities they wish to support.
They do this by donating a TP Token, which is earned every time they work ten days through us. At the end of each academic year we convert the TP Tokens in each charity pot into cash donations.
Supporting our people
From running marathons in aid of the MS Society to sleeping on the streets to support homeless teenagers, we support our staff in their pursuit of worthy causes.
We also have a number of team pursuits each year with Team TP recently taking part in Ultimate Warrior in support of nasen (national association for special educational needs).
As we advance our digital services in order to maintain the best customer experience in our sector, we also continue to make great strides in becoming an environmentally friendly business.
Online invoicing, timesheets, payslips and diaries are just some examples of our progress in becoming greener.
