Cover teachers for Macclesfield Secondary Schools

Our partner secondary schools in Cheshire East and Macclesfield are looking for supply teachers to work within their schools to cover absent teachers who are on course cover, sickness or have additional internal responsibilities. If you are a qualified teacher 11-16, 14+ or a graduate looking to gain experience as a cover supervisor to support a teacher training programme we welcome your application.

We currently work with 6 Secondary Schools in Macclesfield and South Stockport so will be able to provide work on a flexible basis that matches your work schedule and availability. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the LEAs of Macclesfield and Stockport and an introduction to a number if secondary schools becoming a familiar and reliable face for them when a supply teacher is needed.

The role of supply teacher involves covering an absent teacher taking on their timetable and lesson plans, ensuring set work is completed and students remain on task through effective behaviour management techniques. If you are interested in working as a supply cover teacher in Macclesfield and South Stockport you will need to have school based experience, suitable references and eligibility to apply for a fully enhanced DBS.
