Are you a qualified Teacher looking for part or full-time supply cover? Do you want the enjoyment of class teaching without the added responsibilities? Then we want to hear from you today: Supply Teaching could be exactly what you are looking for!

Due to an increased demand for Secondary Supply Teachers in Northumberland and surrounding areas, Teaching Personnel are currently looking for new Teachers to join our local supply pool. Whether you are a Newly Qualified Teacher or an experienced Teacher this can be a great opportunity for flexible work. We can offer you 1 day or 5, completely dependent on your preference.

We are currently working with Schools covering all of Newcastle, Northumberland, North and South Tyneside and the Tyne Valley, therefore, will almost definitely have very local work for yourself.

Key Highlights:

  • Flexible working - you decide when and where you work
  • Ability to try different key stages - KS2 to KS5
  • Work can be very local to yourself
  • Excellent rates of weekly pay - earn between 550 - 850 per week
  • Potential for long-term roles at schools should you be interested
  • Access to CPD Training held by 'Outstanding' Teaching and Learning Schools

To be successful you will have:

  • Enhanced child workforce DBS registered to the update service- we can help with this if you don't have one already
  • Two references from recent places of work
  • Relevant teaching qualifications - PGCE/QTS
  • Good understanding of the current school curriculum
  • Desire to quickly build relationships with staff and pupils in all Secondary Schools
