*Secondary school role - Starting 2nd July and continuing in September*

*Up to £60 per day - dependant on qualifications, references and experience*

A modern Cardiff Secondary School with easy transport links from the M4 are seeking degree level educated teaching assistants confident in academic support for a role starting in July and continuing into the new academic year in September.

Alongside providing support in the mainstream school this school provides education for pupils that are in need of additional learning support. The school offers a stable, individual focused school environment focusing on preparing students academically and emotionally to be successful.

This teaching assistant role consists of supporting secondary aged pupils across KS3 - KS4 and with students completing GCSEs; successful candidates must be confident in academic support and able to engage young people in learning.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • Experience/interest supporting secondary pupils at risk of exclusion
  • Commitment to 8:30 - 3:30/4:00pm hours Mon - Fri
  • Confident in academic and social support of pupils
  • Sport, Psychology or Educational background would be desirable
  • Committed to long term temporary and permanent placement
