 Primary Teacher (SEN and Behaviour Setting)

Full time

Long term – potential permanent position

 Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher within a SEN school in Mid-Cornwall. Each class has between 5-10 students who all work closely with a Learning Support Assistant. The role is full-time and will be due to start from September 2020.

Responsibilities will include supporting the whole team in developing tailored and engaging learning plans for each pupil within the school. You will also work closely with the Pastoral Team to ensure learners and Learning Mentors are fully supported.

The successful candidate must:

Be primary trained with 1 years experience as a minimum

Have experience of working with highly challenging behaviour in a similar setting (e.g. ARB Units, PRU Specialist settings)

Be able to demonstrate resilience e.g. a good attendance record

Be ambitious for a future in the specialist / alternative provision context

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
