Job Title: Teaching Assistant

£90 - £100 Per day.

Job Duties:

• Supporting classroom activities under the guidance of the teaching staff.
• Assisting in the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities.
• Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervising students during class and break times.

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3).

Education:

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional teaching assistant qualifications.
• First Aid certification.

Working Conditions:

The role involves working within a school setting, following the academic calendar. The teaching assistant may be required to work during school hours and participate in school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
