Key Responsibilities:

• Support the English department in delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Work 1:1 and with small groups to support literacy, comprehension, and written expression

• Help students develop confidence in their reading and writing skills

• Assist in preparing teaching materials and classroom displays

• Encourage students’ love of language, literature, and creative writing

Ideal Candidate:

• A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed

• Organised, enthusiastic, and proactive

• Experience working with students (in school, tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering) is desirable
