Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teacher to work in a Reading SEND School, that caters for children aged 5 - 19 on the Autistic Spectrum.
The school are specially looking for a Science Teacher who has SEN Experience

The role:

  • Teaching in small class sizes   
  • 4-6 students in the class
  • Cover until July (with a view to being longer term if the candidate is suitable)
  • Full Planning will be needed
  • TA's  within the classroom to support
  • Dealing with complex challenging behaviours as a result of sensory overload
  • Full time role but the school WILL consider part time applications for the right person!

The ideal candidate will be an SEN Teacher with experience working with complex Autistic students. You will need to be comfortable with personal care and teaching non-verbal students. The school can offer training and support where required to fill any gaps in your knowledge or skill set.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
