Teaching Personnel are currently supporting a large Secondary school in Oldham to appoint a full-time temporary Science teacher to join their Science department from January.

This Science teaching position has arisen due to an internal promotion within the department and will continue initially until the end of the academic year.

Science teachers of all experience levels and specialisms are welcome to apply for this position, and the suitable support will be provided to the successful Science teacher.

-          Full-time Science teacher required, January start.

-          Pay in line with MPS/UPS.

-          Teaching Key Stage Three and GCSE Science to all ability levels.

Our client Secondary school is larger than the average in the area with 1,000 pupils on roll at present. The Science department is situated within its’ own block and provides large state of the art laboratories where practical lessons can take place.

The incoming Science teacher will join a team of ten experienced members of staff, and three specialist Science Support Assistants who provided 1:1 and small group support throughout lessons. It is expected that the successful Science teacher will partake in full departmental responsibilities for planning and marking, and will be fully supported by the Head of Science throughout the post.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
