MFL Teacher ( French and Spanish)

Due to a member of the languages department going on maternity leave our client secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a teacher of MFL to join their faculty on a full time basis. This position will be from Easter until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue for the right English teacher.

This is a highly regarded secondary school located in the town of Chadderton, Oldham it is easily accessible via the something road and has a range of public transport from Manchester City centre.

This mixed 11-16 academy has an excellent reputation within the local community with a large cohort of the students coming from the local areas. The responsibilities of the incoming MFL teacher:

  • Teach French and Spanish from KS3 to GCSE
  • Must have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum
  • Will develop lessons which are increasingly demanding and challenge students
  • Report to the Head of MFL on the performance of all students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
