Humanities Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Humanities Teacher to work in an 'Outstanding' Secondary school in the heart of Macclesfield.

The Catholic Secondary School is located South Manchester in Macclesfield. With over 1500 mixed students ranging from 11-18 years old. The Humanities Teacher role will involve teaching History, Geography, PSHCE, Sociology and R.E. to KS3-KS4 students, planning, marking and assessing student progress to maintain and improve their high standards.

  • Experience teaching History, Geography, PSHCE, Sociology and R.E.
  • Starting in September 2019
  • Working in an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay
  • Located in South Manchester, Macclesfield

Due to a long term absence in the Humanities department the school are looking to appoint a confident and creative KS3 & 4 Humanities Teacher to engage and encourage pupils and further their progression within subject areas.

The successful Humanities Teacher will;

  • Have a passion for teaching humanities to students
  • Have a positive and caring attitude, to help support every student
  • Be able to create fun and interactive lesson plans to engage every student
  • Be able to commit to a full time role
  • Hold a QTS or QTLS

Our client's 'Outstanding' Catholic secondary school is located in the heart of Macclesfield just of the A537. Being located next to a tram stop and having a number of bus stops close by, it is easy to get to from Manchester Piccadilly.
