Food Technology Teacher

Are you a Food Technology teacher experienced in creating innovative and enjoyable lessons?

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Salisbury and have a vacancy within their Technology department for a Food Technology teacher to start in September. The successful Technology teacher will be teaching a full timetable across KS3 and KS4, working within a successful and supportive department within this oversubscribed mixed secondary school.

The Role:

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS
  • September appointment required: Food Technology teacher on a part time basis(0.6)
  • Salisbury based secondary school rated 'Good' by Ofsted

The school are keen to appoint a Food Technology teacher who has experience in a similar role is desired however the school are happy to for the candidate to show experience through other means.

Food Tech is a popular subject and well liked by students at this school with a high percentage choosing Food Tech as one of their GCSE options. The successful Technology teacher must however have a strong classroom presence and be able to engage students across the age and ability range. Effective behaviour management strategies are imperative for this position.
