Supply Teachers required in the Fareham area

Teaching Personnel are working alongside multiple secondary schools in the Fareham area who are require teachers to work on an adhoc basis to cover in the absence of their usual staff. We work with varying schools including Academy Trusts, Local Education Authority Schools and Independent Schools in the PO13 and PO14 areas. Teacher is all subjects are required to teach their specialism and Cover across other departments where required.

What will a typical day look like?

No early start! You will arrive just ahead of the pupils, with enough time to receive your timetable for the day and make your way to along to your first classroom. Most schools will have a welcome pack in place to inform you of any important information to help you throughout the day such as log in details, behaviour policies and relevant contact information in case you may require any assistance. You will support pupils in their usual class environment ensuring the pre set work is completed and that you are there to guide and support the students through their lessons. Upon finishing your final period of the day, you are free to leave alongside the pupils and enjoy the freedom of the rest of the day.

How flexible is the work?

Once registered and vetted with us, you will have access to an online diary in which you can choose the days which you are available to work. Simply block out days in which you would not like to work and we can contact you for the days in which you would like to be teaching. You can be as flexible as you like with this, available 1 day a week or 5, we can work with your diary and your needs.

Requirements for applicants:

• UK QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching the UK curriculum in your subject specialism
• Excellent references from previous education based roles
• Flexible and can do attitude
• Be able to work on your initiative
