English Teacher - Wakefield - September Start

I am currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher on behalf of my secondary school partner based in the WF4 area of Wakefield. This role is full time starting in September on a temporary basis with a view to go permanent for the right candidate later in the year. Based at a Good rated secondary school in WF4, the commute is very easy with great public transport routes as well. You will become part of a thriving English team that do their utmost to make sure pupils are cared for and nurtured into great young adults of the future. I am looking for someone who:

  • Loves their subject, has excellent subject knowledge and who wants to contribute to the development of a well sequenced knowledge rich curriculum.
  • Is ambitious and wants to make an impact on improving the outcomes for all students.
  • Is keen to play a key role in developing our whole ethos and who is fully aligned to our vision.Is personable, pragmatic and can energise and motivate students and colleagues alike.
  • Has the highest expectations of what all students can and will achieve.
  • Is committed to working as a part of a whole school team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
