Highly respected Roman Catholic school in Trafford looking for qualified English teacher
Our client school has a need for a qualified English teacher to take up a post from September teaching English literature and language across Key Stage 3 and a split class of English Literature at GCSE. This is initially a supply post with a view to the school offering the most suitable candidate a contract from January.

Our client school is a larger than average mixed secondary with sixth form on the same site based in Trafford. The school has a strong Catholic ethos; applicants do not need to be Catholic but must be respectful of the school ethos. The school was graded as “Outstanding” across all areas by Ofsted for the second consecutive time. Results have consistently exceeded the national average for a number of years particularly in English, in which 80% students make expected or better than progress throughout their English studies. The majority of students on roll are of white-British heritage from the local area of Altrincham. The school support a higher number than average amount of students with statemented SEN.
