Are you seeking a position in a secondary school setting?

Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of East Lancashire secondary schools who are seeking Cover Supervisors to undertake general cover lessons in a range of subjects. The schools require cover for sickness, course covers, jury service and paternity leave. The schools are located in Blackburn, Accrington, Bacup and Burnley and often call early in the morning for same day cover therefore the candidate NEEDS to be FLEXIBLE and available full time ideally.

The Schools are all located in and around the East Lancashire area and behaviour in these schools can often be challenging. The roles will include delivering a range of subjects to a range of students across KS3/4 therefore a basic knowledge of many subjects is essential. The roles range from short term day to day cover to long term placements.

The candidate needs to be adaptable and flexible and ideally will have experience in a secondary school setting. The candidate should be available full time (or at least 3-4 days a week) and have the ability to accept morning calls and be at a school within 30-60 minutes. The candidate will benefit from:

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
