Science Teacher - High Peak

  • Full time Science teaching position
  • Working within a supportive department
  • Paid to your teachers scale poiunt M1-M6

Science teacher required for Secondary School based in Derbyshire.

This is a temporary position initially starting in October continuing to Christmas with the potential to carry on after this. You will be working within a supportive department and delivering a combination of the Sciences with a preference of Chemistry or Physics specialists. You will be teaching Science across both key stages up to GCSE level.

The school achieves above the national average academically with 54% of students achieving at least 5 A*-C grades within their GCSEs. The Science departments has consistently achieved above the national average due to its forward thinking department, cohesion and sharing of good practice. Located in the SK22 post code of Derbyshire the school has regular public transport and a train station close by.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
