Part Time Chemistry teacher required to work in a school situated in the Castleford area.

  • Competitive pay rates of up to £187 a day depending on skills and experience.

On behalf of my client in a school in the Castleford area I am searching for a Chemistry Teacher, who is passionate about creating and delivering inspiring and engaging Science lessons in order to engage pupils and ensuring all pupils’ attainment is increase and further progress is made during all lessons. A successful candidate should have experience delivering effective and creative Chemistry lesson across KS4, but most also have a passion for teaching Science lessons, across KS3, that inspires and engages children to share your passion for Science, raising the attainment of all pupils, making sure that no pupil is left behind.

This is a Part Time position that requires the enthusiasm and passion of a Teacher without commitment of Full Time hours.

In addition to this Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers such as the National Association of SEN and Leeds Trinity University to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; assessment for learning, planning for progression, effective behaviour management, teaching for learning, using data, SEND, effective adult learning support, supporting pupils with BESD, Safeguarding, etc.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
