We are working with a large College and have a Work Experience Coordinator role available straight away: You must be confident working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets) and adhering to administrative processes, must have experience of communicating effectively with stakeholders via the telephone and email.

Qualification: Must have Level 2 Maths & English. Ideally qualified to at least Level 3

Main Duties: The role involves working as part of a small team to coordinate work experience placements for our learners. This is involves sourcing placements by contacting employers over telephone and email, allocating placements to students and completing all the administrative processes required (such as inputting placement details on Google Sheets, sending out confirmation emails via mail merge and checking if a health & safety check is required). The role also involves communicating with tutors and students to provide information and to resolve any issues which may arise. You may also be involved in delivering work experience information sessions to groups of students. You may be working across several different groups so you will need to be organised and able to keep track of several spreadsheets. This role is in a fast paced environment, so you will need to be quick to learn and able to meet ambitious targets.

Other information: Although this post does not have extensive direct contact with students, it does involve arranging placements for, and communicating with, learners across several departments of all ages, levels and abilities.
