Senco needed for Secondary School – Woolton – February 2020

Are you a qualified SENCO looking for full time work for February 2020?

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Outstanding rated all girls Secondary school in the Woolton area that have a temporary need for a SENCO on a long term basis with a view to permanent for the right candidate.

Our client is a large all girls Secondary school based in Liverpool within a beautiful location with fantastic facilities. They are currently looking to recruit a SENCO to join their well respected and forward-thinking organisation to cover the secondary school. The SEN department covers mainstream pupils with MLD, ADHD, ASD and SEMH.

You be working in a large, supportive and engaged team of teachers keen to continually evolve the systems and structures to ensure they are consistently excellent.

The right candidate will be experienced and familiar with SEND practices and systems with a full understanding of how to meet children's needs. Your personal and communication skills will be vitally important to the role, with excellent written and verbal communication being a requirement. This role will involve significant leadership and some line management responsibility, and you will be provided with every opportunity to develop professionally. The position also includes coordinating SEN best practice across SEN Team members. You will be joining a passionate and committed staff team that have a child-centred approach.

Essential requirements
Qualified to at least degree level
Qualified to work in the UK
QTS or equivalent
National SENCO Award PGCip
Evidence of substantial and relevant CPD related to SEN.

Start Date: ASAP
Contract - full time, until the end of the academic year 2020 with the opportunity to become permanent
Salary: GBP100 - GBP 150 per day
