Secondary School Cover Supervisor

Job description

Secondary School Cover Supervisors- Wigan/Warrington

Teaching Personnel are the preferred choice of agency for a high number of schools in Wigan and Warrington and as a result are constantly looking for graduates and people with youth work experience to work as Cover Supervisors on a daily basis.

The role of a Cover Supervisor provides you with a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience whilst earning money at the same time! It also provides you with the chance to network for any future employment opportunities within education.

We would particularly like to hear from you if;

  • You have recent experience of working with 11-16 year olds within the UK, preferably in an educational setting.
  • You are a confident individual who is passionate about being a positive influence within young people's lives.

Working as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary school is the perfect preparation for completing a PGCE in September. You do not need to have a teaching qualification nor are not expected to plan or mark. Moreover, you are expected to deliver pre-set work in an engaging manner whilst maintaining discipline within the classroom.

At the present time, cover needs within our partner secondary schools are at their highest. Therefore work is available immediately across Wigan and Warrington. Further, due to the amount of the schools we work with, we are able to offer you work close to home to suit your convenience.

To submit your interest in this type of work, please send your full CV to Paul via the link below. Alternatively, for further information, please contact the Manchester West Secondary office directly.
