Job description

Full-time Physics teacher required for a large 'Good' graded secondary school located in Salford from September 2019.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with the Head of Science within a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Bolton to appoint a full-time Physics teacher in the new academic year. Due to a staffing restructure within the Science faculty, the school have an open vacancy for a teacher to deliver Science across Key Stage Three and Physics in Key Stage Four.

Initial appointment of this position will be on a temporary basis for the first term, with the view of securing a permanent contract if successful.

  • Full-time Science teacher required, Physics specialism preferred.

  • Pay in line with teaching experience (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum).

With more than 900 pupils enrolled at school, the school has been praised for its inclusive approach to teaching and learning, with all pupils making the expected progress at GCSE level. The successful Physics teacher will join a large Science department of eight experienced teachers and five specialist teaching assistants.

Located in Salford, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the M61 motorway and the A580 (East Lancashire Road). For public transportation users, there is a local bus station just a short walk from the school.
