School Sports Coach - Worthing

Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Sports Coach to work within on a Alternative Provision based in Worthing.

The School

The school currently provides education to those pupils who have been permanently excluded from school and those who cannot attend their own schools for medical reasons. They also support referrals for pupils at significant risk of permanent exclusion from school.

Recently the school was voted as “Good” by OFSTED, but are looking to return to their “Outstanding” status so looking for staff members that can make a real impact with their student.

The Role

A full time opportunity with the potential for a permanent position, dependant on performance, you will be to help plan and deliver Sports sessions for students of all abilities and manage difficult and challenging situations of confrontational behaviour. You will also be required to help support in class on a one to one basis as well.

The Candidate

You must have experience of delivering a variety of sports sessions to a variety of ages and learning abilities. We are also looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a passion for sports as well as pupils individual progression.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
