Physical Education teacher required for a long term role in Tameside, starting after February half term.

Are you a qualified PE teacher looking for supply work in Greater Manchester? In addition to various daily supply requirements for PE teachers, a temporary on-going position is available for a school on the outskirts of Tameside (bordering Derbyshire) starting after February half term.

This is a full time position on a long term supply basis, initially until the May/spring bank half term. The successful PE teacher applying will be joining a supportive department, KS3-5 experience would be advantageous as the school has a sixth form, however the majority of the timetable will be in KS3 and some GCCSE PE classes. Situated in a leafy area roughly 10 minutes from the M67, connecting to the M60, this is a much larger than average mixed secondary school serving a traditionally white British catchment area, with the number of children eligible for FSM much lower than the national averages. All PE teachers are invited to apply, whether you are an experienced practitioner or newly qualified, you must be available full time for the next term to be considered.
