Are you a Youth or Outreach Worker?

OR maybe you have a passion and interest in working with youth?


As a outreach worker in Kingston you'll provide support to young adults 1:1 and in small groups with mentoring, employment, apprenticeships and outreach programmes. This will be based in a range of settings both within the college and throughout the community.

Do you have any of the qualities below?

  • Someone confident and interested in supporting youth
  • Someone committed to full-time work with an interest in permanent positions within the school
  • Previous experience with youth work, outreach work or support work – however this is not essential
  • Someone with a updated Child and Adult DBS or able to apply in order to secure position
  • Someone who is open to Team Teach training to support challenging behaviour and overall career development

Based in New Malden, the college provides personalised development programmes to support vulnerable youth within the community. Pupils have a range of needs including social, emotional and attachment difficulties alongside sensory and learning needs.

All staff within the school is required to support students with their emotional and social needs alongside learning so having a background in youth work, support work, mental health work is highly beneficial. However, those keen and interested in working with youth with these needs are welcome to apply as training can be provided.
