It is with excitement that I introduce the Teaching Personnel NQT Talent Pool 2020/21 in Lancashire. The Talent Pool offers Final Year Students/Unqualified and Newly Qualified Teachers the opportunity to apply through a Talent Pool in order to be considered for NQT posts in SEN schools beginning in September 2020.
With this in mind, our client school has approached Teaching Personnel to assist in their recruitment of an NQT from September, from the NQT Talent Pool!
The school caters for pupils with varying SEN including ASC, PMLD, SLD and complex needs.
The role will be based in a primary-aged class of 12 pupils. This is a high abiility class, working under age appropriate levels, but mostly able to read at some level, write and numerate.
The successful applicant must understand how to communicate with a range of pupils with communication difficulties, autism, some physical difficulties and also social and emotional difficulties. You must also be experienced in managing challenging behaviours.
There will be 4 Teaching Assistants in the class for support.
This role is a full-time, maternity cover, from September 2020.
