Suitable position for an ambitious Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)

Ofsted rated ‘Good’ in a suburban Greenwich setting

Permanent Year 3 NQT position  (Inner London pay scale)

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a well reputable and highly successful primary school, situated in the Borough of Greenwich (Eltham). The schools aim is to “enable an exciting, challenging and creative learning environment, where opportunities for extending children’s learning can be harnessed and developed”.

This is a 2-form entry mainstream primary school with on-site parking access and it is equally easily reached by rail and bus. It is a 'Good' and ever improving establishment and enjoys some superb facilities, including an interactive and engaging outdoor learning space. The school hopes to recruit an enthusiastic Year 3 newly qualified teacher who has a 'Good' or better record from previous classroom observations and the right individual must have exemplary organisational and interpersonal skills and a confident and creative approach in the classroom.

NQT – Requirements:

  • NQT with PGCE or BA QTS
  • Ability to keep lessons fun and engaging
  • Ability to pace and control a class of up to 30 pupils  
  • Behaviour management skills
  • Must have 'Good' to 'Outstanding' references
