Teacher of Media Studies

Teaching Personnel are seeking a creative and enthusiastic teacher of Media Studies to join our client school in January. The successful teacher will take responsibility of teaching KS4 Media and will also be given the opportunity to teach English or Drama at KS3.

  • Full time role teaching KS4 Media Studies
  • Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
  • Introduction to a supportive welcoming secondary school in South Manchester

The successful Media Studies teacher will join our client schools Performing and Creative Arts department and will take responsibility of teaching KS4 Media Studies. The successful teacher will also have the opportunity to teach English or Drama at KS3 however this is desirable and is not essential. We are looking for a passionate and engaging teacher who has experience of teaching KS4 Media Studies and will be able to raise the expectations and achievement of all students.

Our client secondary school is located on the boarder of central Manchester and is easily accessible via the M61 and public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. With just over 600 pupils on roll, the school is smaller than average and serves a diverse community.
