Mathematics Specialist required URGENTLY

  • £120 - £145 per day
  • Delivering Maths through to GCSE
  • Supportive Maths department

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teacher of Maths for a secondary school in Burton. The role is full time, long term starting from February half term. The school are looking for someone with drive and passion for teaching who has a proven track record of delivering Maths through to GCSE.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to improving KS3 and KS4 levels through meaningful and innovative teaching and intervention. Planning, delivery and assessment of lessons will be required. You will also be required to plan and share resources collaboratively with the other Mathematics teachers in the department, assisted by the Head of Mathematics and your link SLT mentor, another Mathematics teacher.

To be considered for this role you must:

- Hold QTS

- Have at least 2 references we can approach

- Have an enhanced DBS on the update system (or be willing to obtain this)

- Be passionate and committed to teaching and be able to teach Maths to all ability students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
