Maths Teacher, Blackburn School

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Maths Teacher to work in a Blackburn based School which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Challenging behaviours. The pupils are aged between 10 - 17 years of age and often display difficult behaviours, therefore candidates must be confident in their behaviour management skills. The School are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic and qualified Maths Teacher to deliver lessons across KS2 - 4. The candidate must have experience working with challenging pupils and be willing to differentiate work accordingly for different abilities.

The School is smaller than average and currently has approximately 100 pupils on roll, both male and female. The School are looking for a hard working Teacher who is seeking a long term role within a forward thinking Behavioural Unit. The School are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, although they may be in a position to wait until the October half term for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- negotiable pay rates £95 - 135 per day

- long term position available

- rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
