Job description

Teaching Personnel require Maths Intervention Teachers and Teaching Assistants for Long Term Supply placement in Brighton Primary schools from February 2018. A school we are currently working with in the Brighton area are seeking Tutors for various Intervention and LAC Tuition roles across the primary age groups. The school have a number of positions available and the working hours can be made flexible to suit the perfect individual. Within this role the suitable candidate will be expected to identify gaps in pupil's learning, deliver tuition programmes on a 1-2-1 basis and small group basis in order to narrow learning gaps and help build the pupil's confidence in order for them to achieve their full academic potential.

They teach a creative curriculum through which they aim to inspire children to become active learners. Teachers want children to be totally engaged in their learning. The school understand that all children face different obstacles to success and employ a skilled team to support across the school including an 'Every Child a Reader' specialist teacher who helps to ensure that all our children have the reading skills they need for life. In their most recent Ofsted they were recognised as enabling children to make "rapid progress" and having a clear sense of purpose, ambition and drive.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
