Geography Teacher - September start - Full time

Are you a passionate and experienced Geography Teacher in search of a new start for the academic year?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school situated in the heart of Southsea who are seeking a Geography Teacher to join their humanities department. The school is oversubscribed with over 1200 students on roll. This is a non selective school that celebrates its diverse community of pupils and staff. The school is purpose built with modern facilities ideal to deliver outstanding lessons. The school has room for expansion with planning permission well underway to allow for growth in all of its departments.

The school are looking for:

*Qualified Teacher with UK QTS or equivalent

*Teacher with humanities teaching experience

Your role as a Geography teacher will be to deliver the UK curriculum to KS3-4. At present, the school follows the Edexcel curriculum at GCSE level where you will enjoy teaching topics including the physical environment, the human environment, geographical applications and geographical skills. You will also receive 10% PPA time on your timetable to allow adequate time for you plan future sessions and feedback on pupils work.
