Job description

Due to an upcoming gap within the Humanities department, our client secondary school in Bury require a Geography teacher on a full time basis from April 2019. This position will initially commence on a temporary basis, initially for one term; with a fixed term contract available for the appointed Geography teacher in the new academic year.

The small mixed comprehensive secondary school currently has fewer than 600 pupils on roll, resulting in smaller class sizes which can improve the teaching and learning experience. The successful Geography teacher will be responsible for teaching Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four across the ability range.

  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)
