Are you a further education Mathematics teacher who has completed either a PGDE/PGCE or 14+ PTTLS course?

Our client school is looking to recruit a further education Mathematics teacher who has experience teaching Maths at further educational level. The successful Mathematician should be able to teach at GCSE level and any experience of teaching A-level would be beneficial but is not required.

This Mathematics teaching position is a full time position starting on Monday 16th April, after the Easter break.

Highlights of this teaching position:

  • Full time Mathematics teaching position, teaching primarily GCSE with the opportunity to teach A-level depending on ability
  • Location: Manchester on the east side of the city centre
  • Pay ranging between £120 - £160 per day depending on experience
  • Long term Maths position available starting April 2018

The school is located on the east side of the city centre easily accessible via public transport. The school also has facilities for teachers to park making car drivers also able to drive to the school. The school is located far enough out of the immediate city centre, to avoid the bulk of the traffic.

The school are looking for a vibrant and motivated teacher who can take on this role with enthusiasm and passion to excite the students when learning. The successful teacher should therefore be looking for a role where they can immerse themselves in school life. Whilst this role will initially be on a supply basis, there is a gap within their Maths department so the successful Maths teacher has the opportunity to progress onto a permanent contract.
