English Teacher Wanted Easter Start

A Newport based secondary school has the requirement for a determined and successful English teacher to join their flourishing English department. This position is to start after Easter and will be full time. The successful English teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 English and have a timetable which is heavily focussed on Literacy and assisting students to catch up. This role is a full time position on a long term supply basis but has the potential to become permanent.

* Full time, long term English teacher position
* Pay range dependent on teacher's experience, between £90 - £140 per day
* Highly supportive English department and very successful

The school is located in Newport. Having your own car is essential! The highly motivated English teacher will be joining a well resourced English department and a school which is continuously improving each year. The teacher of English will also be required to take on full planning and marking responsibilities.

The school are happy to receive applications from NQTs, experienced teachers and even those who are returning to the teaching profession with the ability to nurture young adults and provide them with the literacy teaching they require.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
