English Teacher - Maternity Cover

Full time English teacher required to cover a Maternity gap starting in May 2019.

The school that wish to recruit for this position are a 'Good' graded mixed comprehensive secondary school located in the Bolton LEA that is now pushing for 'Outstanding'.

Applications are being taken from both newly qualified teachers (NQT's) and more experienced English teachers as their will be regular CPD training sessions within the English department.

All students within the school will receive five 50-minute sessions of English per week. These are a combination of language, literature and literacy. Classes within the school are set by ability level, with this in mind it is crucial that you are able to cater for all of your students, ensuring they are making regular progress and working well towards their target grades.

The school is average in size with roughly 1030 pupils on roll; pupil behaviour was highlighted as 'Good' within the schools most recent Ofsted report. Located on the outskirts of Farnworth this school is just a 5 minute drive away from the m61 and is easily accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas; Salford, Bury, Chorley and Manchester.
