English Teacher - Dorchester

Job description

One of our clients are seeking to appoint a committed teacher of English to join their English teaching team in January 2018. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the English curriculum to KS3 and KS4, as well as the monitoring of student learning to provide effective intervention.

It is essential that applicants are experienced in working with children with SEMH and SEN.

You will have experience in teaching small groups of students to GCSE level. You will need to be adaptable due to changes in timetables and support will change at short notice to address the needs of the pupils.

The pupil referral unit that offers support and educational packages for children who are unable to sustain a place at a mainstream school. The centre works in partnership with with a number of schools, with a goal to returning pupils back to an appropiate mainstream setting. Pupils study a full range of National curriculum subjects to GCSE level.
