I am recruiting an English Teacher for a permanent appointment at a client school in the Kirklees area.

Are you an English Teacher (with QTS) looking for the next role? Are you a Newly Qualified English Teacher (English NQT)? Are you a Further Education English Teacher (FE Teacher)? This could be the perfect opportunity for you.

I am seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a successful alternative provision in Kirklees from September 2020 on a full time basis. The school is located within an easy commutable distance from Leeds, Bradford and the M62.

The school is large alternative provision for students who are unable to attend mainstream school due to a number of reasons including challenging behaviour, SEN and SEMH needs. The school works hard to push students and have good expectations for themselves and achieve their full potential. Students in school value the care and attention staff put into their education and their personal circumstances. 

I am looking for a qualified English Teacher who is able to:

  • demonstrate high standards of teaching and learning
  • teach English to KS3
  • teach English to GCSE
  • manage challenging behaviour

The permanent appointment is subject to successfully completing a qualifying period via Teaching Personnel. We can offer competitive rates of pay which reflect your teacher pay scale (main pay scale); teachers on an upper pay scale can also be considered for the roles. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
