DT Teacher opportunity at a Catholic School in East London

Catholic Schools in the Brentwood Diocese are seeking a Design and Technology Teacher

Are you a fully qualified DT Teacher looking for a new role?

Are you bored of teaching in an environment with poor student behaviour?

Do you want to motivate your students to achieve outstanding exam results in a school achieving high Ofsted ratings?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with several catholic schools in the Brentwood Diocese that are seeking DT Teachers. Catholic schools have a reputation for having either "OUTSTANDING" or "GOOD" Ofsted ratings, excellent exam results and impeccable student behaviour.

The opportunities are ideally for fully qualified DT Teachers who have experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 (up to Key Stage 5/A-Level is not essential but would be a bonus!). You will also have a passion for the subject and the determination to educate your students to a level where they will achieve the high exam results all catholic schools have a reputation for.

Requirements;

  • Possess a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE).
  • Have a degree in D&T or similar subject.
  • Experience as a DT Teacher at KS3, KS4 (KS5 is desirable). Including experience supervising a class undergoing a practical task.
  • A passion for DT and determination to motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • There are no religious requirements for the roles; however you must respect the catholic ethos.
