With COVID-19 having now closed schools, Teaching Personnel are working closely with their client schools to begin the recruitment drive for the new academic year.

A school in Stockport is looking for an experienced Business and ICT teacher to join the teaching staff on a temporary basis. It is expected that the required applicant will hold:
- QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
- A degree (preferably in Business/ICT or a related subject)
- A proven track record in the delivery of both Business and ICT across KS3 and KS4.
- Experience teaching A-Level Business OR ICT is also exceptionally desirable.
As a member of the teaching staff, it is essential that the required applicant will:
- Work as part of a team, in ensuring that lesson delivery and curriculum is adequate in meeting the needs of students.
- Provide detailed feedback related to student progress to the rest of the department teaching staff, as well as senior leaders and parents wherever necessary.
- Hold an in-depth subject knowledge, and be able to think of alternative ways to ensure learning is reinforced across each subject.
- Be able to work with pupils on both a group and individual basis.
- Be able to implement unique strategies, that are designed to ensure that pupils are able to remain engaged throughout the lesson.
- Successfully differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN, as well as those requiring EAL support.
- Deliver school curriculum, as well as ensure that tasks for homeowrk are relevant and beneficial to the overall progress/attainment of students.
- Ensure that students are adhering to school policy, as well as successfully managing behaviour expectations.
The applicant will be able to receive the following through registering with Teaching Personnel:
- Regular training, and continuous personal development, with regards to day to day issues such as safeguarding.
- Invaluable secondary school experience, teaching children across a broad range of ages and abilities.
- Opportunity to work in several contrasting schools, aiding overall teaching strategy in the long term.
- Part time flexible work based around further education/other job roles.
The school’s location:
- Is a short distance from Manchester city centre, located in Stockport
- There are multiple public transport links within close proximity of the school itself.
- There are numerous motorway links also close by.
Pay: GBP24,373 and GBP40,490 per year, based on previous experience.
