Y6 Teacher needed for a school in Barnsley starting Mid Oct 17, with some hand over in Sept

They currently have a vacancy for an ambitious, skilled teacher to work at the cutting edge of educational development within their strong team. If you are an excellent teacher, with energy, drive, determination, experience of raising standards and achievement then we can offer excellent facilities, development and promotional opportunities within a supportive, reflective and committed staff team. For those of you who are ambitious, the school specialises in developing teaching, management and leadership skills for all staff. This post would suit an experienced primary teacher with significant experience of teaching, boosting and working with Intervention groups (which will be key elements of this role) If you feel that you could, or already do, share our v need to:

• Demonstrate and consistently deliver ‘Good’ teaching

• Have high expectations of every child enabling them to make exceptional progress

• Have excellent organisational and communication skills

• Share our vision for providing an outstanding education for the children in our care.

• The ability to work as part of a team

• Knowledge and understanding of child development

• A willingness to work with families

• Have an excellent understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
