Primary Science Teacher (Supply) – Part-Time – New Milton
Are you a qualified primary teacher with a passion for science and a flexible approach to teaching? A supportive primary school in New Milton is seeking a part-time Supply Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025, delivering engaging science lessons and supporting students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds through practical, hands-on learning in science, while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.
Role Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons in line with the national curriculum

Support a variety of learners, including those with SEN and EHCPs
-
Foster curiosity and confidence in science through interactive and inclusive teaching methods
-
Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to meet pupils' individual learning needs
-
Ensure a safe and encouraging classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
-
Experience teaching science at primary level (KS1 and/or KS2)
-
Confidence in managing mixed-ability classrooms and differentiating content
-
Understanding of SEN and a commitment to inclusive education
-
A child-only enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
