Primary Science Teacher (Supply) – Part-Time – New Milton

Are you a qualified primary teacher with a passion for science and a flexible approach to teaching? A supportive primary school in New Milton is seeking a part-time Supply Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025, delivering engaging science lessons and supporting students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds through practical, hands-on learning in science, while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.


 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Support a variety of learners, including those with SEN and EHCPs

  • Foster curiosity and confidence in science through interactive and inclusive teaching methods

  • Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to meet pupils' individual learning needs

  • Ensure a safe and encouraging classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing


 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching science at primary level (KS1 and/or KS2)

  • Confidence in managing mixed-ability classrooms and differentiating content

  • Understanding of SEN and a commitment to inclusive education

  • A child-only enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
