Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Part-Time Supply

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Wimborne is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time, supply basis from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work flexibly while making a positive impact, particularly in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Your Role Will Include:

• Assisting in the delivery of engaging lessons across Key Stage 2

• Supporting individual pupils or small groups, especially those with SEN

• Working collaboratively with teachers to adapt activities and resources

• Helping pupils to stay focused, confident and included in the classroom

• Promoting good behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment

• Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children in an educational or care setting

• Demonstrates an understanding of SEN such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

• Is patient, encouraging and able to build rapport with children

• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team

• Holds an enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
