Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Part-Time Supply
Are you passionate about supporting learning and development in Key Stage 2?
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Wimborne is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time, supply basis from September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work flexibly while making a positive impact, particularly in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Your Role Will Include:

Assisting in the delivery of engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
-
Supporting individual pupils or small groups, especially those with SEN
-
Working collaboratively with teachers to adapt activities and resources
-
Helping pupils to stay focused, confident and included in the classroom
-
Promoting good behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment
-
Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
-
Has experience working with children in an educational or care setting
-
Demonstrates an understanding of SEN such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
-
Is patient, encouraging and able to build rapport with children
-
Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
-
Holds an enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
