Do you have experience supporting those with Special Needs and Learning Difficulties?

Are you looking to use your skills and experience in a school environment?

Teaching Personnel are working with a Special Educational Needs School in Maidenhead that are currently looking for numerous Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. The school caters for Primary and Secondary pupils, all of which will have an Education Health Care Plan. The pupils have a variety needs such as:

  • Autism
  • Asperger's Syndrome
  • ADHD
  • Severe Learning Disabilities
  • Social Emotional Mental Health Needs

The majority of the current vacancies are for full time, long term, temporary or permanent positions supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

Candidates are required to work Monday - Friday 8.30am-4.30pm . Although the school day finishes at 3.30pm extra training and personal development is provided until 4.30pm.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Teaching Assistant experience
  • Experience working with Special Needs
  • Youth support work experience
  • A Psychology qualification
  • Experience working in a nursery
  • Personal experience with Special Needs
  • Care work experience
  • Experience as a nanny or au pair
  • Residential support work experience
  • Outreach work experience
