Secondary - SENCO
Teaching Personnel have been approached by one of our key client schools based in Standish, Warrington to help them with the appointment of a school SENCO that is able to join them in the New Year. (January 2020)
The school require someone with previous experience in a SENCO role or similar and need someone who is able to join them in the New Year.
- Secondary school SENCO required
- Temporary role with a potential opportunity for permanent contract extension
- Previous experience in an SEN or SENCO role is essential
- Pay in line with prior experience
- Secondary school located in the Wigan area.
- January 2020 start date.
In this SENCO position you will be taking control of the development of SEN learning across the school and you will be keeping parents up to date and informed about their child's progress and needs. Throughout this role, you will be taking charge of two Assistant SENCOs and a team of support staff (made up of both HLTAs and TAs), you will partner them with individual children who require additional support.

It is well respected within the local community and has been commended for the achievement and behaviour of their pupils. The school also achieved a progress 8 score that is way above the national average.
