Primary TA (SEN)

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for staff to work at an SEN school in the DE21 area of Derby. The school caters for Primary aged students (4 - 11 years old) with SEN such as MLD, SLD and Autism.

We are looking for someone with additional training in things such as Makaton, PECs and Behaviour Management training.

The school is rated "OUTSTANDING" by OFSTED.

The ideal candidate:

  • Trained in Makaton and PECs
  • Experienced with Autism and Challenging Behaviour
  • Comfortable with Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Previously worked in a Education, Youth and Residential Setting
  • Able to work 1:1 with students and in small groups
