Teaching Assistant - Outdoor Education

Pay Range: GBP250 - GBP300 per week (dependant on experience)

Teaching Personnel's Cornwall Branch are currently supporting a Special School based in West Cornwall. The school provides specialist learning for children and young people aged 8 - 16. These children and young people experience social, emotional, mental health, challenging behaviours and communication difficulties. The school's vision is to provide a structured and supportive approach with pupils accessing a broad and engaging education to meet their individual needs.

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with this school on a full-time basis. The role is due to start in June this year and will continue onto a permanent contract for the successful candidate.

The role will involve supporting children and young people of various ages across the whole curriculum. There are also additional Outdoor Education activities that the schools would like the successful candidate to become an integral part of. Working with Outdoor Education Instructor you will support the young people outside of the school, on various trips and excursions, with the guidance of the school's senior leadership.
