HLTA Stalybridge

Job description

We are working with client schools across the Stalybridge area to appoint creative and enthusiastic HTLAs. You must hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent. We have both full and part time opportunities available starting from September. The duration will be ongoing and until the end of the academic year for the right person.

Our schools are looking for people who are hard-working, passionate about raising pupil's attainment and work well in their friendly, sociable team. This role will be a great opportunity to work with a supportive, efficient, welcoming staff team while developing excellent practice from outstanding teaching.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Lead full class teaching using the teachers planning.
  • Be preparing and delivering learning activities for the pupil.
  • Monitoring across attendance, behaviour and achievement.
  • Responsible for providing support for students, teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils with behavioural needs.
