The role of cover supervisor is that of an unqualified teacher who will cover lessons in the absence of the permanent class teacher, across all subjects of KS3 and KS4. This is a great way to gain invaluable secondary school experience if you are considering a career in teaching or applying for your PGCE.
Overview of the cover supervisor opportunity:
- Manage full classes in the absence of the class teacher (for sickness, training etc.)
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils remain on task with this
- Earn up to £350 per week
- Immediate start
- Great opportunity to gain secondary school experience
You will be working in one of our averaged sized client secondary schools in Tameside who are Oftsed rated 'Good' across all areas, boasting good pupil behaviour and attainment. As a result, the role of cover supervisor at this school would be ideal for aspirin g teachers who are beginning their journey into teaching. The school is located in Tameside, close to Hyde, and can be easily reached from the surrounding areas of central Manchester including Stockport and Trafford. For drivers, the school close to the M67 motorway and can also be accessed via local public transport links.
